A double bedroom with private bathroom and own front door! The space Come and stay in a beautiful, Grade II listed house, right in the heart of Norwich, with all the wonderful amenities this historic city has to offer just a few minutes’ walk away. The property dates back to the mid 18th century, but has been fully refurbished so that it now offers a warm and comfortable place to stay, with all modern amenities. You will have the use of a beautifully furnished, private double bedroom with its own newly refurbished bathroom, on the ground floor of the house and, if required, the use of a parking space. The facilities are entirely self-contained and you will have your own front door leading out onto a remarkable square, overlooked by the great medieval church of St Michael at Coslany, one of the most elegant and beautiful of Norwich’s city centre churches featuring the best medieval flint work in the whole country. The square is very quiet and so are the neighbours, so it will be the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. The house is a typical Norwich weaver’s cottage of Tudor construction, much restored and altered in the late-nineteenth century, but still retaining its great historic charm, and it provides the perfect opportunity to step back in history! The room is furnished with antiques and beautiful prints and a comfortable double bed with freshly pressed linen. There are tea and coffee-making facilities, a small fridge and a microwave. A range of teas and coffee plus muesli and milk will be waiting for you in the room. The bathroom features a comfortable bath and shower. There is free wi-fi and I live upstairs, so will be available to direct you to coffee bars, restaurants, pubs, bistros, museums, theatres and art galleries in town, all within 5 to 10 minutes’ stroll. It's the perfect place to spend a week's holiday exploring Norwich or its surroundings, or to just come for a weekend, take in a Saturday night dinner and show, and a lazy Sunday stroll and gastro-pub lunch. Norwich is also perfectly placed for easy access to wonderful countryside, the amazing Norfolk Broads, and miles and miles of stunning unspoilt coastline.
