Quirky character filled riverside guesthouse

Guest house on riverside section. Full cooking facilities. Loft bedroom upstairs with queen bed or sleep next to the pot belly on the double sofa bed. Downstairs is an open living area, comfortable couch, dining table, full kitchen and bathroom with shower. The guesthouse sits at the back of the section with the owners house at the front and enjoys views of the river from the bedroom. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Enjoy direct access to the river and the Outlet walking /bike track. The space The guest house is behind the main house on the section but still provides a view of the river from the bedroom. It's cosy and full of character, fitted out using repurposed material such as driftwood in the kitchen and river stones on the bathroom floor. The bedroom is accessed using a loft ladder so you will need a reasonable level of mobility to access. Alternatively use the sofa bed in the lounge / dining area. Pets are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved around other animals as we live on site with our two Labradors, one cat and some chickens. To ensure the safety of your furry friend please note the section is not fenced and close to the main road. The outside patio area has a BBQ and outdoor furniture for guest use. Location We are located in old Albert Town on the Clutha river. With easy access to 5 different walking and biking trails including the famous Deans Bank mountain bike track. Over the road is Pembroke Patisserie, fish and chip shop, the Albert Town Pub and a well stocked Four Square. Wanaka is a 7 minute drive away if you want to leave the peaceful river location. Walking access to popular fishing spots. Both Cardrona and Treble Cone Ski Fields are approximately 30 minute drive. In summer borrow our selection of floating devices to float down the river back to our door step, or use the inflatable paddle boards on the lake. Guest access One guest car park. Seven minute drive to Wanaka with the possibility of borrowing bikes. There is a dedicated bike trail to Wanaka.
