Yurt in Isle of Anglesey

Traeth Yurt is ideal for a couple or a single traveller. The yurt is in its own private area on the Anglesey Outdoors site. Fully furnished with a double bed, kitchenette and wood fired stove for cosy nights in. Alfresco deck area and BBQ. With solar power and a outside composting toilet, you can enjoy an off grid escape. Just a short walk from the blue flag beach at Porth Dafarch and the Anglesey Coastal Path making it ideal for all things outdoors. The space Traeth Yurt (or beach in Welsh) is a comfortable yurt set in a private area of the site. Furnished in keeping with the ethos of the site, much of the furniture and decorative items are handmade or upcycled in a rustic style. This is enhanced by the sky light for star gazing and cosy log burner creating a warm and magical space. The yurt contains a small kitchenette with gas burner and grill, and all the pots, pans, crockery are provided. We simply ask that you wash them before you leave. All bedding is supplied but you will need to bring towels with you. Externally, there is a private decked area with seating and barbecue for some alfresco dining. There are also grassy areas to use should you wish. In keeping with the centres' ethos we have tried to use reclaimed, recycled or upcycled materials where possible to keep in with our sustainability aims. Hot water and heating around the site are provided by the Biomass boiler and electricity is supplemented by the solar panel farm. The modern shower pod is just a short walk from your yurt, where you will find a fully contained shower, heated by the onsite biomass, toilet and sink combination. Dogs are welcome in all our glamping units. Please keep them on a lead at all times. Other things to note All guests staying with us have free use of our drying room and bike store. Bedding is provided, but we do not supply towels Wifi There is wifi available around the Main building and Bar but it does not always extend to outer glamping areas.
