Cosy Cabin by the Sea near Tintagel & Coastpath

'Captain's Cabin' is a great base for exploring the incredible North Cornish coastline or relaxing on the decking with a good book and our homemade cream tea! You can walk across the meadows to Tintagel Castle, village pubs & cafes galore! Explore the lane up to National Trust land and the dramatic coastpath where you can head southwest for 3/4 of a mile to Trebarwith Strand or head in the other direction to Bossiney Beach, Rocky Valley & famous Boscastle Harbour. The space Captain's Cabin is a unique and cosy hideaway set in the large garden of the main house. It is very comfortable with a good quality mattress on a king-sized bed & an en-suite with a large, hot shower and a walk in wardrobe. There is WIFI in the cabin, a TV, a small fridge and tea making facilities. The Cabin has private use of very simple kitchen facilities (fridge, freezer, microwave, single hob etc) which are available in the separate barn (which can be cold and is also a storage space for the main house). There is ample parking available at the main house & it is a level walk across the grass to the cabin. Guest access Guests are free to use the main part of the garden outside the cabin. Other things to note On a sunny day at around 3-4pm the sun shines directly in to the cabin which can make it very hot inside. The best thing to do is open the windows and sliding doors which will cool it down a lot! Like all coastal locations we do get some windy, cold and brisk days! Although the cabin is lovely and snug, please do bring suitable clothing and footwear! Lastly, our WiFi can be intermittent, especially on windy days!
