The chirping of the owls that inhabit the farm gave this Suite its name, where this bird, a symbol of wisdom, accompanies the decoration of this new accommodation. Facing the Jardim dos Aromas and the Palmeiras Lounge, relax in the Zen space right outside the door or enjoy the morning sun at breakfast. Welcome to the Owl Room! The space Located near the Serra da Estrela and in the heart of the Dão wine region, this rural tourism farm is situated in a village surrounded by forest and hiking trails. Children can play freely, experiencing the daily life of the farm. The Biological Pool, the animals, all in one place to provide you with the ideal moments to relax. Guest access In the inner courtyard of Casa das Palmeiras there is a Bar and Terrace, a common Living Room with free internet access, with tourist information about the region and local products. You can also request a book from the Library and use the Gym. During the warmer weather, enjoy the Biological Pool and the Palmeiras Lounge, the Playground and Soccer Field. In the old Lagar, now transformed into a Museum, you can enjoy antique pieces stored here over time. At Horta da Ritinha you can help harvest organic vegetables and at the end take your basket. And we can't forget the place all the kids crave when they get here! Aldeia da Bicharada is for kids and adults, an anti-stress space where everyone has fun petting the goats Ritinha and Murça, taking pictures of Pirolito or posing next to the pig Pêpa. Other things to note The farm Casa das Palmeiras is located in the village of Gandufe on the plateau of Serra da Estrela, benefiting from a privileged location with its cultural, archaeological and gastronomical surrounding landscapes. Take the opportunity and appreciate our tourist attractions by using a car or bikes wich we have available on site, or simply wander on foot through our forests, vineyards or nearby local villages.
