The Syam estate was that of a great dynasty of forge masters in the 19th century, everything still breathes their history: the cottages; the guest rooms with antique furniture in the old castle (and/or outbuildings); a linden tree over 200 years old, century-old beeches from the old English park where our cabins are perched.
