You will find my place an enjoyable experience because of the general serenity and quiet when staying in a 5 acre bush setting, 15 minute drive south west of central Ballarat and close to Delacombe Town Centre. Comfortable beds, spacious lounge, bathroom, dining area and wonderful views of the extensive garden. I provide tea and coffee, a delicious breakfast including cereals, toast, fresh fruit, and a microwave, toaster and electric jug. Excellent WIFI and parking available. The space Your space includes a master bedroom with Queen size bed, a second bedroom with 2 king single beds, private bathroom with toilet, spacious lounge with open fire during winter and separate fully equipped dining area for breakfast. We provide books for reading, games and a box of Lego Duplo for the children (or adults). Guest access Guests will have use of my gardens, outside covered decking with seating and BBQ, granite sand tennis court with racquets and tennis balls, short golf driving range with clubs and golf balls and mountain bikes including helmets. Bikes rides can be arranged to the Haddon Common or Skipton Rail Trail. During your stay My place is on a 5 acre block, secluded and very private with an extensive garden and many trees. We can offer advice regarding tourist information in Ballarat and surrounding areas, walking and cycling trails and even escort trips if required. Meals can be provided with 24 hours notice or suggestions can be offered for food/eating choices in Ballarat. Other things to note Greater Ballarat has many interesting cycle routes that suit a range of cycling experiences and fitness levels. From my home stay in Smythes Creek, 13km S.W. Of Ballarat, we offer a variety of cycle options. For those wishing to leave your car at home, we suggest getting a train to Ballarat and starting your cycle tour from either the Ballarat or Wendouree railway stations. According to your needs, riding experiences and fitness level, the station/Homestay route can vary in length and terrain, between 25-50km one way, mostly along the Ballarat-Skipton rail trail, Yarrowee Creek Goldfields trail, forest bike trails, minor roads and some more challenging surfaces and hills.
