Hawthornden Studio - Rural Retreat In ChCh City
Description
We have a beautiful studio with lovely park like surroundings, very private and tranquil. It’s like a touch of country in the city :) come and see what all my guests love about our special studio :) The space The Studio is a modern, light and warm space nestled in a large botanical garden setting overlooking the rose garden. There is a tennis court and a swimming pool onsite and available for guests use. The studio is totally separate but within distance of our family home so we are around to assist if required or you can stay completely private if you prefer. Lovely Queen bed with fine bedding with the several choices of pillow depending on what you find comfortable. Coffee and a selection of tea are available for the duration of your stay. Our studio is not suitable for mobile toddlers/children. We have some furniture which could be a hazard but non mobile babies are fine to have stay in the studio. Guest access The studio is fully self contained with own access and parking for a car. Other things to note We are perfectly situated to enjoy the convinence of the city in a semi rural area. Only 3 minutes from the airport so ideal for that early departure or late arrival. No matter how late you arrive it is not a problem and we can easily accomodate this with a few simple directions that you get given with your welcome message. There are numerous restaurants and 2x malls available within 3 -4 minutes, including Avonhead Mall and Spitfire Square. There is a car park specifically for our Hawthornden Studio guests. The water in Christchurch is lovely and very safe for drinking. The GPS systems on some rental cars take you the long way round to get to the Studio so from the airport its best to travel down Memorial Avenue then right turn into Roydvale Avenue and then a right turn onto Avonhead Road and finally a left turn into Hawthornden Road we are nor far along on the left.
