Guest suite in Greensboro
Description
Enjoy the upstairs suite with private entrance in historic College Hill, just minutes to downtown. Modern conveniences blend with old time charm in big rooms, high ceilings, tile/granite bathroom, and mix of hardwood floors and carpeting. Close to UNCG, other colleges, the Tanger Performing Arts Center, and the coliseum. Relax on the front porch or walk to great restaurants and shops. The space The house is in a prime location for ease in getting to most anywhere in the Greensboro-High Point area. Shops and restaurants are only a block away. Enter through the keyless secured front door (owners and their dog, a darn cute beagle, use the back door exclusively). Then, walk up to the bedroom, with queen size bed, ceiling fan, large windows with black out shades, big closets. The common space is surrounded by bookshelves (take a peak at what past guests frequently comment on as a wonderful selection!) and features an oak table where you can work or eat. Mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee/hot chocolate, and microwave (no kitchen) along with plates, cups, and utensils are stocked. The bathroom has a walk in shower, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, and hair dryer. HI speed WiFi, small TV with antenna in bedroom. A second bedroom ($50/night extra) has the same features of the main bedroom. Our neighborhood is generally quiet so we ask that guests abide by quiet hours, 10 pm to 7am. Though we live near colleges, the space is not suitable for guests interested in partying loudly. To ensure the safety of all, only registered guests on the reservation are permitted in the house (ex: if 2 guests are registered, only those 2 can be in the house). The front porch is great for reflecting on the day's adventures or people watching as neighbors walk their dogs. Guest access Use the front door lock box to enter into your private space and head upstairs to your suite. Owners use separate entrance in the back. Park your car in our driveway--pull in to no further than the blue wind sock. Bus lines are close by as are rental scooters and we think walking/jogging/biking in the historic district is marvelous! Other things to note Owners live downstairs and are just a phone call/text away. Owners and their beagle use a separate entrance to the home from guests.
