Carry on further and you can join the beautiful South West Coastal Path with panoramic views of Start Bay. Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Marks & Spencer all deliver groceries locally. Please note the house is accessed by narrow lanes and the half mile walk to the beach is a steep narrow lane which is busy in the summer. Activities for kids: There is Woodlands Adventure playground nearby. There's also the national aquarium in Plymouth. There are lots of other beaches within 10 minutes drive. The most suitable for toddlers are Lannacombe and East Portlemouth which are both shallow and suitable for a paddle. Depending on season there is a small childrens train in Kingsbridge. You can also hop on the tourist ferry from Kingsbridge - an entertaining 1 to 2 hour site seeing tour around the river to Salcombe and back.
