La Grange - B&B apartment with pool

Great for families or couples, our home is set in beautiful Charentais countryside. Super location for visits to local lakes and riverside beaches, market towns, Cognac, Bordeaux, St Emilion, the coast....or just relax! We offer comfortable accommodation in an apartment over two floors overlooking the pool and garden for your exclusive use. The space Welcome to our home, an ancient former barn with open beams, and views over beautiful countryside toward the old village of Yviers. South Charente is blessed with one of the highest average hours of sun in France, and is a great place just to relax, or explore the area on foot, cycle or car amongst the vines, fields, and woodlands of this rural landscape. Our apartment accommodation comprises a first floor lounge, kitchenette and dining area overlooking the pool. A double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a small single bedroom. On the ground floor a double bedroom with separate shower room (shower, wc & basin) overlooks the pool. A washing machine is on the ground floor. A further ground floor double room is available for larger groups within the house, please ask for details and costs. We provide towels, bedding and essential toiletries. A generous continental breakfast is included in the price. On request we are happy to provide an evening meal or snack platter. The dining area includes a kitchenette with sink, two electric rings, fridge, mini-oven/microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetière. On the terrace you will find dining tables, chairs, a BBQ, poolside recliners, and from June to September we open our pool for you to enjoy. Towels are provided. Our location gives us access to discover the best of South-West France; food, wine, culture, lifestyle, sightseeing, history, museums, sunshine....just explore, or take a few of our recommendations.
