The Cocon de la Margeride

We suggest you pack your bags in this cottage in the heart of the Margeride in Cantal. A haven of peace for nature lovers, exceptional traditional gastronomy for foodies or many activities for the more athletic, simply a vacation suitable for the whole family. Your accommodation, this warm 180 m² chalet, not overlooked, offering panoramic views and which can accommodate 8 people maximum. The space Rental all year round as well as weekends. For weekend rental = check-in time = 4 p.m. and check-out time = 2 p.m. OR 5:30 p.m. (Friday to Sunday = €400 for 8 people. School holidays = €700 per week, except during the school holidays of July, August = €850 per week and December = €900 per week (rentals are from Saturday to Saturday). For weekly rental = check-in time = 5:00 PM and check out time = 10:00 AM. For school holidays = July, August, December and January, I rent from Saturday to Saturday. For all the other school holidays, I prioritize the weekly rental, otherwise I ask for 4 nights minimum and the check-in time is 5:00 P.M. and the check-out time is 10:00 A.M. We host long stays of 29 nights with a 20% discount per month, except on July, August, and December. Linen rental: Sheets: €20/bed and towels: €15 per person. Cleaning fee: €100. Extra guest: €15/pers/night (maximum 10 people in the cottage). Tourist tax is €1.46 per day and per person from the age of 18. Water, electricity, and heat are included and wifi is offered. We only accept one dog on condition that he does not go up to the 1st floor and that he does not sleep in the sofas and on the beds (I do not allow cats). A supplement of 5€ will be requested per day for the dog. Also, you have a small kennel outside that communicates in the garage (the dog can go out and come in as he wants). We have the baby equipment (umbrella bed without extra mattress, bathtub, changing table, 3 high chairs, sunbed, booster, bottle warmer, a pot and a cane stroller). There is a large garage to bring in 2 cars. Guest access The whole house plus the garage (2 parking spaces) and the whole lot. A small kennel is available for your dog, it can enter the garage and exit through the small hatch to access the kennel. Other things to note On weekends, if there is a holiday near the weekend, we require a minimum of 3 days. After weekdays, it's at least 4 days out of season and at least 4 days during the school holidays, except July, August, Christmas holidays and 1 year old which are by the week. If you want a few days during the school holidays and the weekend is included in it: This is the weekend price: €400 and we add the nightly price for the number of days you want. If you have 1 dog €5/day you will be charged. If you have an electric car, you will be asked for €5 per car per rental day. Sheets and towels are not provided, it is €20/bed and €15 for towels. If the sheets, towels and sofa covers are stained, the cleaning will remain at your expense (dry cleaning invoice will be sent to you)
