The Studio In The Garden

The cleverly converted studio sits peacefully in our garden. Comfortable King size bed, newly decorated rooms, quiet with wonderful views of the fields beyond. Mells is said to be one of the most beautiful villages in Somerset. Mostly Medieval with our famous pub/restaurant, The Talbot Inn a short walk away. The medieval town of Frome with its independent shops, cool cafes and restaurants and where parts of the popular BBC series 'Poledark' are filmed, is less than a ten minute drive away. The space The Studio In The Garden is a few meters from our main house and yet completely private, though we are there to help our guests with local information, places to eat, visit, walk or drive and to delivery their delicious breakfast picnic every morning. The Studio has private access. Guest access Private entrance for guests at the side of the house. There are sensor lights. The garden is available for guests to sit and relax and eat out, weather permitting. There are tables and chairs always in place. Other things to note A breakfast hamper will be left outside the studio door between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. You Choose! Though there are washing up facilities for your 'Studio' cutlery and crockery...the breakfast hamper is for us to take care of. Dirties back by 10.30, plenty of time for you to enjoy your breakfast either in the Studio or the garden. The Studio has a kettle and coffee machine. Breakfasts are plentiful: I'll give you a breakfast list every day to choose from [I need it back by 8 p.m. the night before]. There is always fresh home made bread, fresh yoghurts, local farm butter, seasonal fruits...and other treats: all listed. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements when you book. We ask guests not to have strong smelling foods to the Studio though weather permitting they can be eaten in the garden. There is a large, plug-in cold box for wine and any other food stuffs needing cold storage. Milk and mineral water are provided... The Studio is not self-catering inasmuchas there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster if you want to toast your breakfast bread. The village shop sells excellent hams, cheeses, breads, milk, butter and other useful stuff.
