Description
Hakuna Matata resort is a 144 acre private property in Booral NSW (2.5 hrs north of Sydney) and has places available for parties on weekends or during the week. Given its remote location and great facilities, Hakuna Matata resort can be hired for large group parties of 10-150 persons camping in their own tents. There are 5 main large campsites (Simba, Rafiki, Pumbaa, Zazu, Nala) catering for 30-40 persons camping in their own tents, and a couple of couples glamping options. The space Please note that Hakuna Matata resort charges camping PER PERSON PER NIGHT. Airbnb does not insure or make bookings of groups of more than 16 persons, but Hakuna Matata resort can cater for much larger bookings, including the resort being hired out completely for up to 150 persons. For larger groups than 16, it is suggested you look for other ways of contacting Hakuna Matata resort. It is not difficult to find us. This will enable further discussion to take place to see if Hakuna Matata resort NSW is the most suitable place for your large gathering. Birthday parties, events, and wedding receptions have been catered for previously and generally guests are left to their own desires and how they wish to behave, as long as all rubbish is removed and the noise restrictions are followed and a general respect of the property and distant neighbours is maintained. Each of the campsites has a waterless composting toilet, a fire pit and picnic table and chairs. They are separated from each other by large amounts of bush land so regardless of which area you are in, you generally have a feeling that there is no one else for miles around you. Guests are permitted to bring their own firewood or we offer bags of firewood for sale. Fires are fine as long as there is no fire ban in place. Guest access Most of the property is accessible with 2wd vehicles except for Mufasa / Nala which requires 4wd. Other things to note Alcohol and smoking is permitted but please take your rubbish with you, including cigarette butts and bottle tops. Also, please do not throw glass / cans into fires. Also, please ensure you pick up any accidentally broken glass. It is expected that groups take all their rubbish home with them so please bring bin bags. Please do not leave your rubbish in our street as you leave the premises!! Stroud landfill (10 kms away) is open on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. For larger group bookings, a $500 cash bond (possibly more for larger groups) is collected on arrival from the guest who made the booking and this is returned if there is no damage or rubbish remaining at checkout. We know that partying means alcohol for many people. Please be respectful of others and the property. We have a swimming dam and we ask that people do not drink at this area and also do not go in the water while intoxicated. Although you are in the bush and neighbours are a long way away, it is requested that noise is kept to a reasonable level. You can party for sure!! But bass in particular travels in the valleys and neighbours can get annoyed. Please respect me if you are asked to either turn down the bass or the noise overall. Generally, bass is turned down at 12am and all music is strictly turned off at 1am. Also, please respect that this is my home, particularly at the shed house along the driveway. Please do not congregate at the house and if you need to ask something, send a message or make a phone call. Registration Details PID-STRA-8354
