10, Nautical Mile - as the name suggests, is a Mountain Cottage of a Mariner made out of love for the mountains and a wish to slow down the pace of life. This is a home away from a home; tucked away in the lush forest 16 km away from the military Town of Ranikhet at Uttarakhand. This is a 03 room cottage - with 02 rooms on the 1st floor and 01 on the ground floor. You will have the entire first floor along with a private lounge (alcove) and a private terrace. A cute space all yours!! The space 10, Nautical Mile Mountain Cottage is just beyond the charming hill station of Ranikhet. The USP of this place is clean, crisp mountain air with solitude. The majestic Himalayan views and greenery can be enjoyed in the cosy cottage room(s), with a garden and a private Gazebo with an unimpeded view. A wide range of modern amenities are made available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Booking with 02 adults gets you a cosy room. Each of the 3 rooms can be booked individually as well. Booking two rooms come with the added attraction of a private attic for the kids!! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with approximately 230 square feet of private space. Attention: the access road to the cottage that had got damaged has now been repaired and is motorable!! However, the last 150 meter of the road is slightly steep, requiring caution by the driver. Guest access The common areas of the cottage - living room, dining room, garden and Gazebo outside. Food Guests do not have access to the kitchen. We have a fully equipped kitchen, with a Hobb-Chimney gas stove, Micro wave, fridge, utensils, glasses, crockery, etc. The resident caretaker cooks wholesome meals (on order from our alacarte menu). We believe in organic food and sustainable living. Expect a home and not really a Hotel - We are a pet friendly stay and treasure our pet guests. However, for sanitation reasons, we do not allow pets to be brought on beds and inside quilts. Other things to note •Tariff is inclusive of one morning tea/coffee. •Food bills will have to be settled by cash or UPI, on site, at the time of check out. •Snacks, Beverages & Laundry will be charged extra as per actuals • The other rooms of the cottage might be occupied by other guests during your stay. . We provide facilities for accompanying drivers on prior intimation and for a nominal fee.
