Delightfully charming vintage 1970s-style decor house with Cadair Idris and sea views, homely feel, in quiet area. Romantic sound of the sea. Garage & parking space. Terraced private garden - you can eat outdoors. Short walks to beaches, town, hills. Beautiful Mawddach estuary, mountains, scenic coast & history all an easy reach by car or train. Ramblers delight. Enjoy Barmouth's olde worlde charm, lovely harbour, fish & seafood restaurants, seaside cafes or explore Snowdonia + wild NW Wales. The space Feel "Back To The 70's" - escape from high-tech living! The indoor space is all on one level. The front door - and keysafe - is up 2 steps and then 8 from where you park. In the kitchen, the cooker is 'retro' and works fine. There's a microwave, and a kettle. There should be tea and coffee and a few tins if you arrive hungry and late when the shops are shut. There's a large bath in the bathroom and an instant over-bath shower. 'How to use things' guide should be on the table when you arrive. PAST GUEST REVIEW "The view is awesome! (Aug '19) Guest access You can park in the drive or on the street. Buses into town from the main road. Barmouth station is about 15 mins walk away. Other things to note You will have to bring your own sheets, towels and pillowcases. Scenic route to arrive by: A40 (from Oxford, Cheltenham, etc) towards Brecon. A479 to Talgarth. A470 to Builth Wells. Don’t cross the bridge yet! Go a short way through town, take 2nd right, R then L takes you to car park by river / toilets - a good half way stop. Leave left out of car park and left over the bridge, take A470 Rhayader and Llanidloes. Side trip left to Llyn Clywedog for glorious views. Then join B4518 to go over the top on mountain road - truly scenic! Wow all the way down to Machynlleth . Nice town + can pick up supplies. Then A487 to A470, Dlogellau bypass, A496 along Mawddach estuary to Abermaw/Barmouth. Follow 1way system in town, past Dragon theatre on left. A496 towards Harlech - it's a bendy road. Carefully turn right by white hotel Tyr Craig Into Ffordd bro Mynach. (Drinks, meals and sunset views at hotel.) Go up hill for short way. 3rd house on left, with a blue double garage door.
