This is not an exiting urban area. You can hear waves from the beach, see tons of stars at night. A Bus stop nearby. Basically please take local bus, we will send you time table and location map. When we have time, like when we do not have other guests, we sometimes come to pick you up so please ASK. This is a guest house what we call Minsyuku in Japan, only for two groups, maximum 99.8 m3 large, 60 years old, with renovation day by day almost only by host, property and guest manager, Taka. The space Price: 2 guests included .................................................. Looking for anything special? Now then I recommend you island hopping in Urato islands. This room is 16.5m2 large with a personal sink, refrige, hair dryer, rental towel, free wifi connection, disposable toothbrush, and shampoo. Couples OK. ................................................... Urato islands consists of four small islands where they fish for their life. They are parts of Matsushima. We have over 260 islands in Matsushima, but you can step into a few islands among them. Urato islands are one of them. I have hosted over 2000 guests from overseas so far, and everyone says that he or she wants to go to Matsushima here. Well, people thinks of Matsushima, Matsushima Kaigan station when it comes to Matsushima, but actually these islands belong to three different towns and a city, Higashimatsushima(town), Matsushima(town), Shichigahama(town), and city of Shiogama. Sight seeing boat tour from Matsushima port near Matsushima kaigan station is also nice, but please be noted that you can never step into islands, you have to stay in a boat for 55 minutes. But as for Uratos, you can enjoy island hopping tour from Shiogama port(Marine Gate Shiogama). Its very near from the accommodation. ※Please be noted that you have to bring shrimp chips with you before you get onboard. You can feed it to sea gulls directly from your hands. You hold up shrimp chips, sea gulls will soon snatch shrimp chips from your finger. do not feed your finger..... Well, This is a guest room with 16.5 m2, with another shared space for dining and drinking, with microwave electrical pot, cup board for your cups and dishes. Restroom and bathroom are to be shared. we have another guest room for maximum 5 guests, and this room is up to 5. .................................................................. ONLY steps to the beach called "foreign beach" as we have foreign village called Takayama nearby. So many missionaries come to visit for summer vacation and some are living all the year long. Please do not step into OUR private room. We have two or three separate Japanese style guests rooms with brand new tatamis, and each room is with personal sink in it but a room upstairs. ........................................................................... If your are thinking of staying here several days in a low, you have to buy something to eat, drink, etc before you leave JR Tagajyo station. We do not have grocery stores near by. There is a coffee shop which is open for 7am, you have to walk around 10minutes, but you can have breakfast in ocean front seats. Guest access You can use almost everything like your home except our private room, other guests rooms and kitchen. Usually this accommodation is for host check in. I will send local maps, time table of bus, location of bus stop etc, after your completing your booking from PMS. As inventory of this accommodation is unitarirly managed by a channel manager, when you book this room thru airbnb, it will automatically reduce the inventory from the system and send 0 inventory to the other OTAs. I mean, you do not have to make a request, just book it please. One day after your booking our system will automatically send you a confirmation letter including location maps, how to checkin, how to take bus, etc, directly to your airbnb mail address. Even if you are using airbnb app, you should have registered your mail real e mail address to airbnb. Our auto mail will sent confirmation letter to airbnb address, and airbnb send it to your real e-mail address, so please check it out. Other things to note 1. No party at night. No party at night as this is a very quiet residencial area. no shout, no cry, no music at night. 2. No littering This is a part of Matsushima. Do not litter. 3. No bear foot. Please take slippers in our shared space, and take them off in a room with tatami floors. 4. Turn air conditioner off when you go out or leave. I know you keep it on in your country, but please turn it off when you go out. We depend on nuclear plant in Japan, and i do not like it. 5. Do not use two microwaves, toaster, and electrical pot at the same time. Please use them one by one. If the electricity is turned off, just turn off all the facilities you are using, and wait three minutes. Power will be back automatically. 6. NO SMOKING No smoking Inside. There is a smoking section outside. 7. BATH Opens from 5 am until 10pm basically. 8. Security and security camera We have safes in your rooms, but we are not responsible for any lost or stolen baggages. Please be noted that we have security camera at entrance outside for your safty. 9. Facility Almost all facility here is for rental usage. Do not bring towels, yukatas, sheets and pillows to your home. We do serve disposable toothbrush, but sometimes we do not. Do not put wet towels directly on Tatami, or on Futons. It will easily spoil Tatami, and you have a towel hanger in your room. As for kitchen usage, some may think that it is usual or common that you can use it for your breakfast, or dinner. And others say that they want to have hot pot like nabe party in Japanese even though they do not bring hot pot itself. At least ASK BEFOREHAND please. I mean BEFORE YOU BOOK IT. Even if this accommodation is different from what you expect, I am very sorry but I do not understand what you expect for. If you want to cook something with rice cooker or seasonings, please bring YOUR RICE COOKER, SEASONINGS, etc by yourself please. Extra 1000 JPY will be charged for a person a night for kitchen usage, extra 4000JPY for nabe party from Feb 2019. Seasonnings, oils, mils, who share them? Please buy and bring yourself. This is not a listing all included. Thank you for your cooperation. 10. shared space Please always ware slippers in our shared space, and the shared space is only open until 10pm. Please always be out until 11am to 2pm for our cleaning and maintainace purpose. You can use kitchen for 1000jpy a day. Otherwise please put all the dishes and cups etc on the counter after you use them, We will wash them. 11. PETS You can stay here with your small dog. But please bring a cage and a manner belt with you. Please let him or her wear manner belt in your room, and use the cage when you are not with him or her, or when you are both in our shared space. We love dogs, but some other guests do not. Pet charge 1000JPY a day. 12.License Our license number is 宮城県(塩保)指令第296号. 13. Tent site 14. Check in and out, your baggage Cheching in and out in this accommodation means our guests with their baggage arrive or leave here at the same time. We can not accept your sending or leaving only baggage before checking in or after your checking out for security and maintenance purpose. If you want to leave your baggage for a while for walking or swimming after your checking out you may do so in our shed out side, and it will cost 1000JPY for a baggage a day. Using rollers of your baggage on tatami or insideis not allowed. 15. booking from third party Booking from third party is not allowed at any time. It is a rule of airbnb.
