For your vacation in Lutterbek, we have extensively rebuilt and renovated our apartment. The newly designed 120 m² of living space extends over 2 levels (2nd floor + attic). The 2nd floor is divided as follows. It welcomes you with a spacious entrance area with a wardrobe and access to a bathroom with shower. From the entrance area, you can reach two bedrooms with double beds. Adjacent there is another bathroom with shower. Next door you will find a comfortable living room. It impresses not only with its cozy seating area, but also with a wonderful view over the passing Hagener-Au. Visually separated by the dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette follows. The large dining table offers plenty of space for the entire family. From here you can access the furnished balcony with seating area and a barbecue. A staircase in the hallway leads to the gallery in the attic. The gallery offers an additional sleeping space with a single bed. Adjacent to this is a large bedroom with a double bed, flooded with daylight. The property belonging to the apartment is crossed by the Hagener-Au and also has a fishing pond. On the 10,000 m² garden area there is a children's playground, a garden hut with a cozy barbecue area, as well as various seating groups, sun loungers and beach chairs that invite you to laze around. Here you will also find our Nordic barrel sauna, a hot tub and an outdoor pool! You can safely store your bicycles with us. An in-house parking space for your cars and bicycles is provided. In our apartment, we attach great importance to comfort and a cozy ambience. The apartment is located in an excellent holiday location in the idyllic village of Lutterbek, about 2 km from Laboe and the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach. The fine sandy beach with shallow water zones in Laboe offers children an ideal bathing paradise. Just steps away from the beach is the seawater indoor pool. The splendid view of Kiel Fjord will delight you on your vacation. The nearby yacht and fishing port of Laboe serves as a base for the ferry steamers to Kiel and for deep-sea fishing trips. Lutterbek On the way from Kiel to Schönberg, turn left behind Brodersdorf to the village of Lutterbek, located in the East Holstein hills and lakes landscape. Lutterbek with its approximately 400 inhabitants is located in the valley of the Hagener Au, which divides the town into approximately two equal halves. The valley of the "Lauteren Bach" also shapes the surrounding landscape. Due to the difficult accessibility of the lowland surrounding the stream, there are still remnants of nature largely unaffected by humans. To the left and right of the valley stretches a typical Schleswig-Holstein cultural landscape with the associated hedgerows. The floodplain with its partly wooded slopes and especially the hedgerows is also a retreat for some animal species on the "Red List"; so you can still observe many rare birds here in peace. The village appearance is rural and is characterized by the three farms still in operation. Lutterbek is characterized by a high number of houses worthy of protection and thus retains the typical Probsteier village character. The many thatched houses with their partly spacious courtyards and entrance areas invite you to take a tour of the village. The village community house was formerly the school of the village, opposite is the old forge. The old dairy, the former water mill, the old grocery store and the village tavern, today's "Lutterbeker": All these buildings are still standing and with a little imagination you can imagine village life around the turn of the century. Even in today's Lutterbek, some buildings are at the center of village life. Thus, not only do the meetings of the municipal council take place in the village community house, it is also the meeting place of the sports club with its various branches and the volunteer fire brigade. The rooms are also available for parties and family celebrations. A destination not only for the villagers, but also far beyond the Probstei is the "Lutterbeker". With its colorful calendar of events, ranging from cabaret and cabaret to music, from folk to punk and rock, to exhibitions by artists in the affiliated gallery. The surprisingly diverse offer for a place of this size is complemented by outdoor events, such as the children's festival, the lantern walk and much more, and contributes to a lively village community. With 120 m² of living space and a total of 3.5 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to eight people, ideal for larger families or friends who want to travel together and still have space for themselves. On the second floor, the day begins with light and space: the open living area with a large couch corner, connected kitchenette and dining area leads directly onto the balcony – with an unobstructed view over the Hagener Au and the mill ditch. Here you can barbecue, sit, talk or just look. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, as well as two bathrooms with shower and toilet make this floor pleasantly comfortable for several guests. In the attic, the anteroom opens with a single bed, which can be expanded by a second bed if necessary – ideal for children or single travelers. Another bedroom with a double bed and French balcony reveals the view of the Au – a quiet, beautiful picture in the morning and evening. All rooms have TV, Wi-Fi is available. The sofa bed in the living area serves as an additional sleeping space if required. For washing machine and dryer, a shared utility room is available, directly in the building. However, the special experience takes place not only indoors, but right outside the door. On the extensive property with a stream, small lake and old trees you can watch wild geese, herons or with some luck even a kingfisher. There are quiet corners to retreat to, sunny places to stretch out and shared moments on the grill, in the grill hut or by the water. In the warm season, the outdoor pool (May - Sept.) is also available, complemented by a hot tub and barrel sauna – all embedded in a natural environment that does not impose itself, but gives space. Two parking spaces are available and free of charge. Pets are welcome in this apartment. The Baltic Sea coast is easily accessible by bike or car. If you like to take culture with you, the restaurant "Lutterbeker" is a special place for cabaret, music and good food – in a village that is as small as it is lively.
