A peaceful and tranquil self contained cottage to escape to, within 5 acres with fields to roam and direct access to beautiful local off-road walks and tourist attractions, such as the vibrant and historical town of Glastonbury with its unique High Street of quirky shops, cafes and Glastonbury Abbey Gardens and Ruins. Local areas of natural beauty include, Glastonbury Tor and Springs, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, the Quantocks and The Mendips. The space Decorated throughout with neutral, tasteful aesthetics and furnishings, this one bedroom cottage with reception & open plan recently fitted kitchen, bathroom (shower over bath), ceramic tiled floors and carpets, double glazing, GCH, gated and walled patio garden with seasonal herbs and salad. Guest access Guests and their dogs / children are welcome to roam the grounds and can even help themselves to firewood. We have recently added 3 Alpacas to the paddock so we ask that you do not enter this field as they are still adjusting to their new surroundings. We also ask that you do not feed them anything that isn't provided by us or without our consent. Other things to note Iain, the owner is creating an organic wilderness retreat for individuals or events, incorporating the beautiful Somerset countryside and stunning sunset views of Glastonbury Tor with holiday lets that merge period property with bespoke modern aesthetics and architecture. He grows seasonal vegetables and herbs and has planted over 50 fruit and berry trees around the 5 acre estate, also home to our 3 lovely Alpacas. He likes to include the community and will always try to source local independent tradesmen and currently has two 'Woofers' that live on site and help to maintain the grounds.
