The space The Water house is a stylish villa on the most serene setting of Koggala Lake. Ideal for family reunions, groups of friends or anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. You will get the best by relaxing in the lush by the pool, spoil yourself in the paddy field and never ending birds whispering. Watching the colourful tropical lighting across the sky at the night and listening to the rain orchestra with a cup of ceylon tea, become one of my favourite high light of the villa. The villa has 24 hours in house staffs, 2 house keeper and 2 gardener, a chef and night watch and our private tuktuk driver. They are all extremely friendly and willing to help you any time. The villa is a mix of traditional charm and modern comforts, laid out to maximise the glorious views across the panorama paddy field , its just over a mile from the beach and 20mins from Galle, but in total tranquillity, far away from the noise and crowds. We offers 5 large separate villas, each with en-suite bathroom and veranda, plus an additional dining chamber situated right beside the pool and a paddy view yoga pavilion holds 10 people, on top a absolute stunning retreat with in house ayurveda therapist. If you are a group with little children, we able to offer nanny service taking special care of the little one, make sure you book in advance. Our large tropical garden attracts a variety of colourful birds from kingfishers to peacocks, with bird watching guess reporting sighting over 50 varieties. Monkeys and monitor lizards are regular visitors and a special attraction is the dusk fly-past of hundreds of fruit bats, as they circle the lake on their nightly flight to the inland jungle to feed. On a clear night the lack of light pollution makes stargazing a must. DINING: ---------- Every morning you will wake up with hundreds of birds sining around and monkey family having a morning meet up. Choose your daily continental breakfast or sri-lankan breakfast to start your day is not a bad idea, and they are all included in the price. lunch and dinner in villa with our master chef is a must try, we have full in house menu, if you would like to perform a wonderful meal for your friends, well, an additional charge $10 person, fell free to use the kitchen, and our chef and staff will all stand by to support the special meal. We can serve fresh sea food from the lake or nearby sea, Western tastes or even Chinese and Japanese Cuisine are all available. Enjoy spectacular views of colourful sunsets, whilst dipping in the pool or spoil yourself with delicious local cuisine . From the market to your table, if you wish to join, we always would love to show you a very exciting cooking and dining experience in this special country during your stay. Of course, just a easy call from our house menu for a snack or a glass of wine won't disappoint you either. Chill by the lake and call out to the local fishermen for their catch of prawns, fish and crab, or take a lake boat safari by just walking out of your room. If you can tear yourself away from the villa, the World Heritage site Galle fort is about a 25 minute drive away and makes an enjoyable day out. We have a fine selection of venues that we love around the town, don't hesitate to ask.
