Spacious self-contained flat in Parkstone

The Flat, is a one bedroom, self contained space with living room, kitchenette, large bedroom, en suite bathroom & deck area. It is decorated in an eclectic and rustic style. The space is perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend break, as an alternative, creative work space, or a cosy, unique place to rest your head as you explore what Dorset has to offer. A 10min walk from Ashley Rd where you can buy food and supplies as well as catch buses to Poole, Bournemouth and the Jurassic coast. The space The space is bright and clean with something exciting to look at at every turn. In the living room, there is a table to work at (with high speed internet), a comfortable sofa, chair, a TV, which is available to watch a large selection of dvds (please note the TV is only available for DVDs & Netflix as it is not connected to regular programming). This combined with the wood burner creates a perfect environment for chilling out after a long day of exploring. There are some board games and plenty of books to keep you occupied whist you are here. The kitchen is equipped with, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, Ninja oven & induction hob. The Ninja oven is very easy to use and makes cooking very easy, the instructions are in the flat and in the photographs of the listing. If you need a hand with is just message us. We will supply a basic breakfast of muesli & dairy or plant milk (Let me know before you arrive, which one you would prefer dairy or plant milk) As well as coffee and a variety of teas. We also provide filtered water. The bedroom has one large double bed & a single bed, two guest wardrobes and en suite bathroom with deluxe power shower. In the living room there is a wood burner, which you are welcome to use at any point during your stay, you are welcome to light it yourself. Wood will be supplied. If you are unsure of lighting and maintaining a fire with a wood burner, then just let us know and one of us will show you. You are welcome to use the washing machine if you would like to wash your clothes. The heating is on a timer, it comes on in the morning and evening to warm the bedroom and living room. In the winter months, please use the fire to top up the heat. However let us know if it’s not warm enough. Guest access As the flat is at the front of my family home, you will have to share the front yard and drive way. You may see my mum and Nanna walk past in the morning or dad with the dog! We don't use the front yard much except to walk through to the drive way, so unless you need extra assistance we will make sure to give you space. *Just to note* We are an active, creative family so we make sure to keep the front yard as tidy as possible, but there is a caravan, sometimes a boat & wood for creating things! It’s never been a problem but just a warning to let you before you arrive. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We are an eco conscious family, we use solar energy, do our best to save water & recycle. Please use the facilities but be mindful not to waste water. The hot water is to be shared among the rest of the family, so please do your best to remember this. Make sure to use the recycle bins where provided and switch off devices, lights etc when not in use. Thank you! Location: please be aware that the property is located in a valley between two reasonably steep hills, if you have issues walking you may want to reconsider. Ashely rd where the main bus stops are a 10 min walk up the hill.
