THE BUILDING - The Beach Pearl #6 was built in the 1970s at the height of the costa del sol tourism peak - The reception is manned all hours outside of the siesta (13:30-17:30) and is equipped with security cameras - A local direct line telephone from the apartment to reception is an additional layer of security - The doorman can be a very good source for local information and the free WIFI in the reception will likely answer any other questions you might have   THE BEDROOMS - Master bedroom: 10m2 with in suite bathroom, 160cm bed, large closet, big south-east facing window with panorama view of town - 2nd bedroom: 9m2 with two separate 90 cm beds, bedside tables, large closet, west facing window   THE SALON - 16m2 of zen inspired furniture blending with the brightness from the terrace - A large sofa with matching footrest allows for relaxation and interaction - Multifunctional sofa table and HIFI TV-furniture with DVD allows for good entertainment in the unlikely event its raining - A modern bookshelf with some interesting reads is also at your disposal. The salon also caters for the dining table and 4 chairs   THE ENTRANCE - Clothes hanger, shoe storage - Big mirror (so you can check yourself top-to-toe before going out to dinner)   THE KITCHEN -The brand new kitchen includes oven and induction stove, extractor, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The appliances are easy to use and self explanatory. There are guidelines for each appliance in the draws of the kitchen table. Guidelines come in English and Spanish. - Kitchen has open space design that interacts with entrance and living room THE BATHROOMS - In suite bathroom: WC, shower, mirror cabinet, towel hangers - Master bathroom: WC, shower, sink cabinet, towel hanger, big mirror, well illuminated room (perfect for make-up!)   THE TERRACE - Lateral view of the Mediterranean and frontal view of the old city and Andalusian mountains - Offers seating for 4 people and is the perfect spot for cozy dinners and breakfast - The flexible table and chairs can be expanded to everything from a large dining table to a small coffee table - Here you will also find complimentary beach chairs for you to use at the beach Guest access A stay at the beach pearl comes accompanied with full access to the apartment (all rooms, furniture, equipment and home entertainment). In addition, you will find plenty of beach- and sports equipment to keep you active. Other things to note NEW RENTAL RULES AS OF 2016 AND REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER GUESTS Spanish tourist rental laws requires hosts to register all visitors +16 (just as a hotel would) in a guest register upon arrival and send details on name and passport numbers to the local authorities within 24 hours. Be prepared to share this information upon your arrival or in advance for a smooth check-in. PARTY NOISE The apartment is located by the beach in the center of Fuengirola. It lies not too far away from bars and discos. Expect some noise during the high season as happy people tend to shout on their way to bed. The apartment is newly renovated but the building is not super modern which means noise travels both up and down and sideways. Please respect your neighbors as you would at home. In the evening turn down the volumes on music and TV to ensure a nice atmosphere. There are plenty of bars and restaurants open after 23:00 if you are still in the mood for song and dance.
