Ideally located in the center of Périgord and all the sites that make it rich, our house, La Maison de Marc, is an outbuilding of one of the most beautiful estates in Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. As in the 18th century, everything here exudes peace, harmony and beauty. Located in the middle of nature, it is the perfect place to recharge and explore the beautiful Dordogne-Périgord region. We converted this former farmhouse into a luxury home. The space Catherine and Maxence are happy to welcome you to their holiday home, Marc's House in La Chartreuse du Maine. Dating back to 1702, Marc's House is the old farmhouse in Maine. Its neat renovation has retained all its character while giving it luxurious comfort. It faces south and offers a private garden and flowered terrace, with furniture and barbecue. A few steps lead to the spacious and bright interior which consists of: - A living room with living room (large usable fireplace, wood provided free of charge) and small desk - A large modern and bright kitchen-dining room, whose French door opens directly to the private garden. - A large double bedroom (160x200 bed) - One bedroom (2 twin beds) - A large bathroom, separate toilet. Wifi (strong signal) throughout the house, computer not provided. Baby cot upon request. The windows open to the gardens of the Chartreuse and the private wood. The countryside-chic decor gives a very soft and warm atmosphere to Marc's House. Beautiful blonde stones, soft colors, beautiful materials. The distribution of the rooms, all on one level, and the direct access to the private garden through the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom make it the ideal holiday home for a family with two young children. The children are very happy in Maine: the space of the estate gives them a feeling of extraordinary freedom, not to mention the attraction of the dog Iris… You are welcome in all the space of this estate which extends over 27 ha of lush park with vegetable garden (in which you are welcome to help yourself), heated pool from May 15 to September 30, and private woodland with walking paths. Guest access You can park 2 cars safely (free of charge) in the inner courtyard of the Chartreuse. Please respect the private covered areas (barns, garages, woodshed, etc.) to which you do not have access. Other things to note The large heated pool from May 15 is to be shared with the occupants of two other vacation homes (6 people maximum) located in the same area. The situation of the houses and their private gardens is designed in such a way that each is totally independent of the others and generates no inconvenience to the others. Registration number 0000
