Cottage in Escamps

Enclosed in a garden spanning approx. 2.5 acres, La Joncheraie welcomes friends and family at any time of the year. With 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 5 separate toilets, La Joncheraie has all the comforts of a modern house and the charm of an old country house. The house is situated about half an hour away from the vineyards of Chablis, Irancy and Chitry; and half an hour from Chateau de Saint-Fargeau and Chateau de Guedelon. Welcome to La Joncheraie ! The space When some will play ping-pong, others will quietly read by the fire or in a deckchair depending on the season. Bike rides (7 bikes) are part of daily life. Our family has 50 years of memories in this house. We are looking forward to share it with you. 7 bedrooms can welcome 12 people: - « Les Roses », « Les Lavandes » and « Les Peupliers », each contains a double bed (sleeps two), private bathroom, toilet and a closet, with a door directly onto the garden. - Upstairs, « Les Glycines » with a double bed (sleeps two), and « Les Pres », with two single beds, make a charming apartment with shared bathroom, toilet and closets. - « Les Champs » is upstairs with a single bed, a closet and a washbasin. « Le Bureau » has a single bed. With 4 bathrooms and 5 separate toilets, La Joncheraie offers a great deal of comfort for a large group. The living room is the meeting point of the house: sofas and armchairs by the fireplace and a large dining table that can sit 12 people. The kitchen is fully equipped: gas stove with electric oven, microwave oven, Senseo coffee machine, fridge + freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, and cooking essentials to prepare delicious meals. A washing machine, a separate drier, an iron and an ironing board are available in the utility room. There is central heating. Guest access Sheets and towels are provided. Basic products (oil, salt, coffee, tea,…) are available, and all you need to prepare a first breakfast. Please replace what you used.
