Open the patio doors and relax on the settee as sailing boats glide past, or unwind on the balcony with a book and a chilled drink after a day of sightseeing. Transport links are excellent: the mainline train station is a short distance away, offering fast connections across the region, and the Tamar Valley Line is also close by — a famously scenic route through rolling countryside and riverside villages. For added convenience, the local bus runs every hour, seven days a week, with the stop just around the corner from the property. The compact, well‑equipped kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, microwave and a small fridge/freezer. The lounge features a TV with Freeview and reliable Wi‑Fi. A comfortable double bed with quality linen is on the second floor, and the separate bathroom has a shower, basin, and WC. Central heating and plentiful hot water ensure a cosy stay throughout the year. Practical extras include off‑road parking and an on‑site electric vehicle charger available to guests for a small fee. Well‑behaved pets are welcome by arrangement; we ask that they are not left alone in the apartment and do not climb or sleep on the furniture or bed. This property is perfect for walkers and nature lovers. Enjoy river trips to the pretty village of Calstock and walks to the National Trust gardens at Cotehele, take the train into Cornwall for coastal days out in Looe or St Ives, or head inland to explore the dramatic tors, moorland walks and historic villages of Dartmoor. Plymouth’s waterfront, theatres, historic Barbican and Royal William Yard are a short bus or taxi ride away. Guest access Parking is directly beside the property and is not shared. As the house is fully detached, you won’t have any adjacent neighbours. If there is space available, please park in front of the wall. If that area is full, you may park in front of the black gates, but please leave clear access to the double garage as it is in regular use. You have full use of the entire two‑storey property, including the large balcony with seating. With prior notice, we can provide secure storage for kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. Brunel Boathouse is an ideal base for these activities, with a slipway and small beach area located directly across the road. Other things to note Fabulous accommodation with wonderful views situated by the World famous Isambard Kingdom Brunel railway bridge. You can hear the rumble of the trains however there is a 10mph speed limit and they do not normally run throughout the night. Although there are pubs and restaurants within walking distance, the nearest convenience store is approximately 10 to 15 minutes walk. Supermarkets are a short drive. If walking at night, please be advised that the pavements are limited in the area and we would recommend using a torch for your safety. Electric Vehicle charger is located on the property and is available to guests, subject to charges.
