Our home is a semi-detached house in the rural village of Kiltarlity, four miles from Beauly and eleven miles from Inverness. Our guest room has a double bed and is next door to a shower room for your private use. We provide breakfast - porridge/cereal, toast/bread/preserves/fresh fruit/cheese. We look forward to welcoming you to our home. The space The village of Kiltarlity is 11 miles west of Inverness and very close to the North Coast 500 route. It is also close to the Great Glen Way. It is 9 miles (15km) from Loch Ness and the Monster Exhibition centre. My husband’s great-uncle claimed to have seen the monster 14 times! Guest access This is not a self-catering establishment. The kitchen is not available for cooking your own food. I am sorry that this is non-negotiable as the government licence covering my property does not cover my kitchen for use by guests. The utility room is next door to your bedroom and a kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and water are accessible to you there. During your stay We will always be around to welcome guests when they arrive and are happy to socialise with them if they wish that. Other things to note Kiltarlity is a village 11 miles west of Inverness and 9 miles north of Loch Ness. Please be aware that public transport is very limited so it is essential that you have your own car to get here and to visit the local area. Unfortunately there is no food available in the village in the evenings but there are restaurants and also Chinese, Indian and Fish ‘n Chip takeaway places in Beauly, 4 miles away and, of course, lots of eateries in Inverness.
