A fabulously characterful two hundred year old half timbered house. Less than two minutes walk from the amazing medieval centre of the pearl of Limousin - Uzerche. On the second floor above our friendly little art gallery and studio/workshop we have lovingly renovated a self contained apartment. Like the whole house it is simple yet stylish, a combination of the old and new, original ancient oak beams and fireplaces, creaky dark stairs but all with fresh new decor mod cons and very comfortable The space Your apartment is completely private and is accessed from the front door through common stair well. This big old building once contained four self contained apartments. Your open plan accommodation is laid out for a couple and maybe one child but is very flexible, in addition to the double bed there is a double fouton/settee and single fold down guest bed and plenty of spare bedding. There is a child safety gate on the stair landing if you have a toddler or two.
