Holiday home on the Island of Unije

Lovely warm comfortable house fully equipped with two open plan living rooms on the Island Unije, in the northern part of Adriatic with its Mediterranean climate. Just 5 min walk to beautiful pebble beaches and 2 min walk to the grocery store. The ideal getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle of life with its clear blue sea and warm summer nights. The space The house is located on the beautiful island of Unije. This secluded island, with perfect Mediterranean climate, is the ideal getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle of life with its clear blue sea and warm summer nights. Unije is accessible only by boats from Rijeka, Mali Losinj, Pula and Zadar. There are very few motorized vehicles (tractors and scouters) but no cars are permitted, making Unije the perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of city life. There are endless possibilities for adventure on Unije-swimming and snorkeling in clear sea, practicing yoga and meditation in the open, hiking and explore the beautiful Mediterranean surroundings, and enjoying the island’s rustic architecture. Although the island is spacious a 17 square kilometers ( 6,5 square miles),the settlement is very small and authentic, making everything you need walking distance. The house is situated in the middle of the village- just 5 min walk to beautiful pebble beaches and 2 min walk to the grocery store. Unije also includes a few restaurants and a cafe (where you can find internet access, but there are no hotels or big resorts. The accommodation is equipped with the basic essentials and you will have everything needed for a pleasant stay. You will have towels and bed linen supplied and the bathroom has shower gel and shampoo to save on your packing. The entire house (kitchen, bathroom, first floor living room and bedroom) is very well maintained, and the ground floor area was completely renovated a few years ago. The house is cozy with rustic walls and a beautiful terrace ideal for morning coffee and breakfast as well as enjoying a nice meal and glass of wine. There is also a grill on the terrace for barbecues. It is altogether 120 m2, with two open plan living rooms each with a couch/additional beds. There is one bedroom with one King size bed, one bathroom and one fully equipped kitchen, which has the exit to the terrace. This house is ideal for a family/group of 4 however if there are more members there is one additional seperate bedroom (ideal for teenagers) with its own entrance and a balcony with a beautiful view. There is one double bed. There are two entries. One entrance is to the ground floor open plan living room and another terrace/entrance is to the kitchen, which leads to the open plan living room on the first floor and consequently the bedroom. It is an ideal base for a family of four/ five or a group of adventurers. If needed there is also a portable child’s crib. However it is important to point out that the house is not baby proofed and please keep in mind that the stairs can be slippery if your feet are wet. Pets are welcome. Water on the Island Unije is very scarce and that is why we kindly ask you to keep that in mind when using water for any purpose. Guest access There is a grill on the terrace for nice barbecues. There are two open plan living rooms each with a couch/additional beds and one with a fireplace. There is one bedroom with King size bed, one bathroom and one fully equipped kitchen, which has the exit to the terrace. There is a terraces. Other things to note It is important to point out that the house is not baby proofed. Pets are welcome. Water on the Island Unije is very scarce and that is why we kindly ask you to keep that in mind when using water for any purpose.
