Welcome to Luz das Estrelas. Here you will find excellent holiday accommodation in the heart of Portugal. Luz das Estrelas was originally designed to accommodate couples only, but has the facilities to welcome couples with up to 2 children (ages 5 - 17) or 3 adults and 1 child. The holiday home and swimming pool are for your exclusive use during your stay. The space Luz das Estrelas features a heated outdoor salt pool, sun lounge area and hot/cold outdoor shower. Wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, villages and in the distance the town of Castelo Branco. Accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, (one Double bed and one Single bed) fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, lounge/dining area with Double sofa bed and log burner. Outdoor BBQ & dining area. Apart from the tranquil setting of Luz das Estrelas, the area is popular all year round for walking, hiking, swimming, cycling, fishing and other leisurely pursuits. In winter the snowy mountains of Serra da Estrela are visible from the property. Visiting the snowy mountains is approximately 1 hour drive. Rates for 2025/2026 1 January - 29 February 65€ (pool closed). 1 March - 31 March 70€ (pool closed). 14 April- 30 April 75€ (pool open, if the weather is good). 1 May - 31 October 85€ - 90€ (pool open). 1 November - 31 December 70€ (pool closed). Based on 3 persons booking. Additional adult/child 15€ extra per night up to a maximum of 4 people. Bookings accepted from couples or families only. No parties or adult gatherings. The owner reserves the right to refuse entry and/or terminate the booking at anytime should a party or adult gathering occur, with no refund given. Low season (1 November- 30 April) bookings 28 days + will be discounted by 25%. Guest access Your booking and vacation period is for exclusive use of swimming pool, holiday home, bbq area, outdoor dining area and garden. There are no other guests on site during your vacation, only the owners, who use the pool themselves, but not at the same time as booked guests.
