Maple's Den - Collingwood beach house

Maple's Den is a quiet, comfortable and sunny 3-bedroom house just across the road from Collingwood beach. The spacious, open-plan living and dining area, and sunroom, command an expansive 180-degree view over the bay from Separation Point to Farewell Spit. From the upstairs living area and sunroom you can observe spectacular sunrises, interesting coastal birds, and be mesmerized by the tide going in and out. The kitchen is very well equipped and overlooks the ocean. The sundeck leads to a deck with a good quality BBQ. There are three large bedrooms, one king and one queen upstairs, and a third bedroom downstairs with one queen and a bunk set. There is a diverse selection of DVDs, games and books to occupy all ages, in addition to free, unlimited wifi internet. Maple's Den is also very well suited for a comfortable winter escape, with a fireplace and good supply of dry firewood for cozy winter nights. The beach is tidal and safe for swimming and is on the coastal walking route to Milnethorpe Park. The bach is just a short walking distance to the Courthouse cafe, local pub and shops in Collingwood village, as well as to the departure point for Farewell Spit tours. Maple's Den is well situated for access to the Heaphy Track, and to explore Farewell Spit, Wharariki Beach and all that Golden Bay has to offer. Please note that we are following Homeaway's upgraded cleaning and disinfecting guidelines between all client stays, and provide contactless check-in and check-out. We are able to provide a full refund if you are unable to travel to Collingwood due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
