Welcome to la Maison Bridge! Our recently renovated, three-story Victorian home is the perfect setting for your group to relax and reconnect. La Maison is large and comfortable, with a touch of modern luxury and well-appointed commodities. Nestled in the village of Ormstown, a 1h drive from Montreal, you're steps away from any conveniences you may need, while quietly nestled in a peaceful home with stunning views of the Chateauguay River out back. We look forward to hosting your group! The space La Maison Bridge is a large Victorian home that's elegant, soothing, comfortable and modern. Three floors await you, with a large kitchen that's well-appointed for cooking (we're foodies so we take cooking seriously!), a breakfast nook and terrasse overlooking the water, two large living rooms, one overlooking the water, and another with a wood-burning fireplace, large HD TV, bookshelf & board games. The dining room features a custom-built wood table for 10-12 people and chandelier, as well as everything you might need for a lovely dinner in good company. On the second floor you'll find three bedrooms - two with Queen beds, one with a King - as well as two full bathrooms and a half bathroom. A small staircase hidden behind a door brings you to the third floor where you'll find two more bedrooms - one with a Queen bed & a sofa-bed and one with a King bed, a sofa bed and a twin bed. As well as a full bathroom and small coffee station. Each bedroom (on both floors) also has it's own TV, where you can connect to your Netflix and other streaming accounts. From the exterior, there's a large front porch with seating for 10 people to catch the sunset and enjoy an apéro before heading out to dinner. In the back, another large porch awaits, with a BBQ and bistro seating (perfect spot for morning coffee to listen to the birds), below is a large flagstone patio with a table for 10-12 people, outdoor lounge seating, and a 10 person hot tub. Walking down to the river, we have a beautiful firepit where you can make s'mores & s'more memories while stargazing. ** It is not possible to swim in the river ** We think it's the perfect home to reconnect with a group of special people. Guest access There is a bus that brings you directly from downtown Montréal to Ormstown - contact us for info should you require assistance. Otherwise, there is free parking on-site for 3-4 cars, and guests are also welcome to park across the street, at the Taverne de la Ferme. Ormstown is a small village with all the essentials, you're a 5 minute walk or less from: groceries (IGA closest, Super C a little further out), SAQ (liquor store), dépanneur (corner store for beer, cigarettes, etc), a few local restaurants (some fast-food/casse-croûte, a pizza place and the Taverne - great menu & full bar), Bar le Vieux Moulin (terrasse, pool tables, game machines and a fun dive-bar vibe), Serenplicity coffee shop, Post Office, and more! Other things to note We are passionate about helping people discover our beautiful area! Don't be shy to reach out for tips - we'd love to share with you! Please be advised that our hot tub, lawn and gardening maintenance are completed on Monday and Tuesday at the house. Our team is discreet and keep their appointments as brief as possible.
