Cosy Chalet 38, small chalet close to the beach

Chalet 38 sits on the corner of a lovely centre lawn area, in a traditional chalet park and is perfect base for a bucket and spade beach holiday. We have been playful with a hint of retro 1970s. We also try to be wildlife freindly. This is a small chalet idea for two, but will fit four, it has one normal sized bedroom, and a bunk room The chalet is a few minutes walk from the amazing Caswel Bay beach. There is a small patio where you can watch the sun set down the valley. The space Chalet 38, offers a versatile base for a relaxing beach holiday, the beautiful sandy Caswell Bay beach is a few minutes walk down the hill. The chalet park itself maintains the traditional feel, set within woodlands, in an area of outstanding beauty. Chalet 38, is on the top corner of a central lawn area, away from roads, with a small patio and bench table for eating outside and watching the sun set It has a small integrated kitchen / living space that is great for being social. The kitchen area has a mini oven/grill which also has a two ring hob, this is suitable for warming food, and light cooking. There is also a microwave, a fridge and small freezer compartment. The living space has a sofa bed, and a small two person table and chairs. There is also a breakfast bar that can seat 4. There are two bedrooms; The main bedroom has a superking bed. The second bedroom is very small, more of a bunk cabin room, which children love. It has a concertina door, and a black out curtain between it and the small hallway that leads to the lounge. This is not totally soundproof, so young children might be disturbed by noise from the lounge. There is not room for a travel cot in this room. The bathroom has a small bath with an over bath electric shower (this is not a power shower). I have found this works well for most, as people like to use the bath with the children after the beach, or shower down, clean wet suits, or just soak in the bath. The Chalet has fast free wi-fi .The code you will find on the notice board upon arrival. There is also a small smart TV and dvd player. You will find the phone signal is not great....it will depend on who supplies your contract as to how well the phone works. Whats app works well for calls. The Chalet is well insulated, so it tends to stay warm when heated by oil filled portable electric heaters. It must be noted however that chalets do like to breath to avoid a built up of condensation so it is important to leave windows on vent when possible There is a small 3 car parking space very close to the chalet, one space is used by the chalet, although it is not a exclusive, but there is lots of other free parking on the site. Please note this chalet electric supply is not suitable to charge electric cars from, and at present there is no public electric charging point on site. Guest access You have use of the entire chalet, a small patio and the lawn space outside the chalet. There are a couple of steps up to the lawn. There is a also a small stepped patio out the back, good for sitting in peace with a book. Wi-fi is limited. The smart television, and DVD player. Other things to note That dogs are only allowed on Caswell beach..... the closest beach out of Season. They are not allowed on the beach from May 1st until September 31st. The holiday park is a combination of owners and holiday lets, perfect for families but not great if you want to party into the night. Where possible we try to be environmentally friendly, this means we use eco-friendly liquids when we wash the bedding, and then line dry. We also try to attract wildlife by encouraging a small wildflower space on the small bank beside the chalet. This has been very successful in attracting a range of butterflies, and bees, it however does not have a manicured look. I am afraid the chalets electric is not yet suitable for connecting and charging electric cars, and there is not as yet a public electric charger on the chalet site, but there are two on the beach car park.
