Our cosy 2-bedroom apartment (1 queen bed and 2 king singles) offers the perfect blend of convenience and serenity—just minutes from the freeway, Westfield Shopping Centre, fantastic local restaurants, and only 20 minutes to the beach. Whether you're stopping over for a short stay or looking for a longer escape, this is the ideal place to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Nestled on 1.2 acres of tranquil land, wake up to birdsong and breathe in the fresh country air. The space The apartment is located on the upper level (accessible via a flight of stairs) and features serene views of the tree canopy and our small acreage below. Step out onto your private veranda (with secure gate to keep children and pets safe), where a fully equipped Webber BBQ and sink awaits—perfect for outdoor dining. We provide all the utensils you'll need. You’re also welcome to explore the gardens. Just outside your door, you can enjoy peaceful walks in the neighbourhood and keep an eye out for local wildlife like wallabies, water dragons, and native birds. While the main residence is nearby, your privacy is fully respected, and you’ll have the space to yourself unless you'd like to say hello. Guest access We provide a carport directly beneath the apartment for easy access. The entire cottage is yours to enjoy, with full privacy throughout your stay. Other things to note Please note that access to the cottage is via a flight of stairs. Wi-fi is available. We have an Apple TV connection and have Netflix and Disney available (as well as free to air channels). We also provide a DVD player with a selection of various DVD's. Inside we have a microwave, kettle, toaster, small toaster oven, single electric hot plate and dishwasher. The main kitchen is located outdoors and features a covered BBQ area with a sink. The instructions for using the Webber BBQ are located in the blue folder inside. Enjoy the fresh air while you cook, or take it easy and order in with UberEats or Menulog. We warmly welcome pets! However, please note the following : 1. For comfort of all guests, pets are not welcome on any furniture or beds as this damages linen and leaves pet odours. If you don’t have appropriate bedding for your pet and thinks it’s ok to not follow this rule we suggest book elsewhere as if this rule is broken we will charge $50 fee per piece of furniture that pets have been on. 2. to protect our local wildlife—including water dragons, native birds, and wallabies—we kindly ask that pets remain on a lead while exploring the yard.
