Coachman's Quarter is a charming one bedroom coastal apartment set in the pretty hillside village of Lynton in North Devon. Its unique location means it's private terrace boasts some stunning coastal views over Lynmouth, and the ocean towards Countisbury. The 2 bedroom cosy apartment is the perfect base for coastal adventures by foot or boat as you take in the glorious scenery North Devon has to offer. Its unique location means the private terrace, which is accessed via the living area or main entrance boasts some stunning coastal views over Lynmouth, and the ocean towards Countisbury. Situated within the Lynton Cottage Seaview Apartments complex, this dog friendly apartment comfortably sleeps two (and one dog) in one bedroom, and is ideally located for couples who are looking for base to explore Exmoor National Park, the North Devon coast and the Valley of the Rocks. Arranged over three floors, you enter Coachman's Quarter from its own private entrance into the sitting room located on the top floor. Guests are welcomed by a bright and spacious living room with a high vaulted and beamed ceiling featuring comfortable seating, a wall-mounted smart TV and an electric wood-burner, ideal for those cooler evenings. Down a flight of stairs, there is a well-presented double bedroom with a king-sized bed and a bathroom fitted with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Along the hallway, you'll discover an alcove that provides a lovely space to hang clothes. A well-equipped kitchen is on the ground floor, and can be accessed either from a spiral staircase from the first floor or from outside. This charming kitchen has been thoughtfully renovated, and includes appliances such as a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven with hob and a microwave. A dining area with a table and seating for two provides a lovely space for a leisurely breakfast or supper. There is also access to a ground floor cloakroom, as well as a handy space for coats and boots. The real highlight for guests staying at Coachman's Quarters is the private terrace. This can be accessed from the living room or the entrance gate. Outdoor furniture has been thoughtfully provided so guests can relax and enjoy stunning coastal views over the ocean towards Countisbury. One dog is welcome at Coachman's Quarters. Please read the house rules. **PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING AN ISSUE WITH OUR BOOKING SYSTEM. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE HOLIDAYING WITH THEIR INFANTS** Please note: that Coachman’s Quarters may not be suitable for everyone due to its limited accessibility both inside and out. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about it's accessibility before booking. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage, and the private terrace. There is also one parking space. Other things to note Please be aware that although a dog is welcome at the apartment guests should note that the terrace is not fully dog proof and your four-legged friend is unlikely to be able to use the spiral staircase. Coachman’s Quarters is not suitable for everyone due to accessibility issues both inside and out, these include a sloped road leading to the entrance gate, steps leading down to the apartment and two flights of stairs within the apartment including the spiral staircase. Please do discuss any potential access requirements with My Favourite Cottages prior to booking. The private terrace is the only place to take advantage of the sea views, the apartment itself does not have sea views.
