Personally renovated by the host with a careful eye for detail. Inside: Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps 10. The open floor plan is bright and airy, with tall windows that bring the outside in. Eclectic and layered—warm textures, bold color, and thoughtful design throughout that make it feel more like a well-loved home. The living room is the heart of it—a fireplace for slow evenings, board games for lazy afternoons, and a disco ball, surround sound, and neon lights for when the night calls for a dance. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, a breakfast nook, and a dining table for 10. Mornings usually end up on the deck with coffee, yoga, and no particular plan. Three queen bedrooms and a king master suite with private ensuite, each with Helix mattresses and Evergreen Stitches bedding—quiet enough to actually have a restful sleep. Renovated bathrooms with in-floor heating and ceiling speakers, for the occasional shower dance. The upstairs loft doubles as a den and movie room—wall-to-wall daybeds, a 100" projection screen, and Bose surround sound. Outside: A spacious deck with a hot tub for 7 and a propane BBQ. The campfire pit sits among nine private wooded acres under genuinely dark skies—on clear nights, the Milky Way is out in full. After a day on the slopes, the hot tub is exactly what you need. Getting around: Windham Mountain is 7 minutes away, Hunter 15. Good hiking and local restaurants are close by. Work remote: Starlink WiFi throughout—reliable for remote work and streaming, though the mountains have a way of making the laptop feel less urgent. Guest access A laundry room is available in the basement for guests—the rest of the basement is private. The house runs on Starlink satellite internet, great for remote work and streaming. Not suited for heavy downloading or gaming. Apple TV on the projector gives you access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime, HBO, and more. Please don't bring gaming consoles, connect additional devices to the projector or sound system, move furniture, or unplug any cables—it disrupts the setup for the next guests. A lot of love has gone into this home and we hope to share it for a long time. Please treat it with care. Other things to note Please note: The house has a sensitive septic system. Please be mindful of toilet paper usage. Septic issues resulting from overuse may incur repair costs up to $3,500. The upstairs loft has up to 4 single beds for guests who prefer separate sleeping. Let us know in advance if you'd like them made up. For heating and cooling: portable A/C in the living room, fans in all rooms, and electric baseboard heating throughout with heated bathroom floors. Being up on the mountain, there's also a constant cool breeze. The home is not child-proofed and we don't provide cribs, highchairs, or changing tables. We recommend the space for guests 12 and older—if you're bringing young children, please let us know at booking.
