Pippin: Luxury Ensuite Yurt near Bridport

You will love our luxury insulated yurt on our secluded farm in West Dorset, close to the Jurassic Coast and Bridport. Pippin has a divinely comfortable super-king bed, the finest bedding and linen, a wood burner to keep you cosy and warm, a fire-bowl, and sun deck with stunning views. With an en-suite bathroom and kitchen yurt this is glamping in style! It is a wonderful backdrop for a truly peaceful, relaxing break - for couples, families and groups alike. The space Pippin sits in its own private paddock at Walnut Farm, just above the cherry orchard and has spectacular views across the valley towards the Jurassic Coast. It is fully insulated and has a divinely comfortable superking bed, a lovingly crafted en-suite bathroom with a piping hot shower, proper flushing loo and basin with overhead lit mirror. There is a woodburning stove to keep you warm and cosy on the chillier nights and, if that's not enough, there is a dual controlled electric blanket on the bed! Pippin is a beautifully hand crafted 20ft en-suite yurt with ample space for living inside and out. There is a very comfortable sofa and dining table to seat 4. To the front of the yurt is beautifully rustic dining area with wood chip floor, log round tables and chairs and a firebowl for barbecues and campfires. To the back of the yurt is an enormous larch deck with an outside dining table and far reaching views down the valley towards the Jurassic Coast. There is a whole private paddock to explore around Pippin and footpaths lead from your door in every direction should you wish to explore beyond the farm. There is a kitchen yurt in the Cherry Orchard below Pippin which houses a gas range cooker, fridge, sink and all the cooking utensils and crockery we think you might need. If there is anything you find you need then you are always welcome to come and see me at the house at the end of the drive. There is also a separate shared dining area outside the kitchen yurt. Set on a beautiful secluded farm just 5 minutes from Bridport and 10 minutes to West Bay and the Jurassic Coast, a car is essential as public transport is limited. We have a wood fired hot tub that you are welcome to hire during your stay. It sits on its own private deck away from our yurts. It is filled with fresh clean water before each use (no nasty chemicals used). The cost is £35 per session if you heat it or £55 for us to heat it for you. You can book from 12:00 to 3:00pm or 7:00pm to 10:00pm. We can host a pizza evening in our wood fired pizza oven for you using local ingredients for £15 for adults and £7.50 for children. Both the Hot Tub and Pizza Oven can be booked in advance or once you have arrived. Guest access Set in 12 acres of rural countryside, Walnut Farm is the perfect setting to ​slow down, unwind and relax in a luxury en-suite yurt. You will be able to explore our orchards, relax in one of our hammocks, indulge yourself with a soak in our wood fired hot-tub and feast on pizzas from our traditional cob pizza oven.
