Stunning Harbour Views, close to town, quiet area

Orca Lodge is in a beautiful setting amongst native trees with a lovely view of the inner harbour, close to the wharf where there is a restaurant and fish n chips and a short walk to town for shopping, cafes and restaurants. With modern décor and everything you need to be self contained. Situated in a very quiet area of Raglan you will get a great night's sleep and enjoy the peace while relaxing on the deck. The space The lodge is all yours to make yourself at home, has a large outdoors deck area for you to lounge and dine in comfort, it is very private and has gorgeous views out to the harbour. There are two bedrooms downstairs with an interlinking door, and there is a queen pull out bed in the lounge. There is sufficient heating in the Lodge, with panel heaters in the bedrooms and fan heater and oil heater available for lounge etc. The kitchen is fully self contained with everything you need including a big fridge. There is a kitchen breakfast bar with bar stools for dining indoors. All towels and bed linen is supplied. There is a washing machine for laundry. The outdoor deck area has a security gate on the staircase to keep children safe and enclosed in a safe area. There is a Weber BBQ for when you like to dine outside. Guest access There is a carport for you to park your car in, this gives you direct access to the lodge and rooms on the bottom level. It is a short 4 minute walk to the wharf for fish n chips or some shopping, then a 10 - 15 minute walk to get to Raglan town where there are more cafes and shops. A quick drive to world famous surf breaks and beautiful beaches for a swim. Other things to note There is lots to do in Raglan, kayaks and paddle boards are for hire at the wharf or in town, surf lessons and board hire is available, horse trekking at the near by beaches, bush walks and lovely long beaches to explore. Hamilton is a 45 minute drive if you need to get a city fix. There are pubs, restaurants and cafes in Raglan, and often there are bands and DJs at the local night club and other venues.
