This holiday cottage (gite) is the converted OLD HORSE STABLES of Château de Beaulieu which is situated near the lovely tourist town of Saumur in the Loire Valley, France. The Loire River is just 200 meters away. Charming and fully modernised. The property has 90m2, comprises two bedrooms, kitchen / living area, shower and toilet, and shares the heated swimming pool with B&B guests of the château. NOTE: the gardens are on a significant slope, with about 20 steps up to the Entrance Door. The space The old hayrack and feeding trough, as were used by the horses of the Château de Beaulieu, have been restored but left exactly in the place where they've been for over 200 years. The horses at that time were used in the vineyards of the château. The cottage (gite) offers the charm of yesteryear but with all modern conveniences.
