Description
This traditional and cozy Faroese house, originally constructed in 1896, has, even though it's totally renovated, stayed faithful to the original design. The house features a traditional turf roof and the body of the house still features the same wood/oak which was placed in 1896, giving the house a real warmth. The view is extraordinary, featuring Nólsoy and the harbor of Tórshavn. The renovations of the house give it a modern touch without taking away from the original design. The space The house features a kitchen and a living room cobbled together. There are one and a half bathrooms, and four bedrooms. Besides the house is a "hjallur" (store house), which is also handy, while giving a Faroese feel, as it is very common for Faroese houses to have a "hjall". You'll also have free public parking available right beside the house. Guest access You will have the whole house to yourself and in addition to that have access to a small store house, where we have placed the tumbledryer and the freezer. Other things to note The house has three floors and steep stairs to get between them.
