This loft, built in a former artist's studio, has been completely refurbished by architects in an "industrial" design. Very bright, it has a high ceiling, a balcony, three bedrooms + 1 office. The apartment is located on the top floor and is very quiet! The property comfortably sleeps 4 adults + 2 children (family ideal). Parking is available on request only (5 min walk to the building). New – small portable air conditioner The space This loft was built in 2015 in a former artist's studio. The condominium has been completely refurbished and has a caretaker and an inner courtyard. Located in the heart of the village of Bastille in a very sought-after area, the apartment is conveniently located between shops, restaurants. The apartment, located in a courtyard, is very quiet. The apartment, with very high ceilings, is located on the top floor – with elevator – and has a long balcony-terrace overlooking the rooftops of Paris. The canopies and large bay windows bring in lots of light. The apartment was designed by architects (Starck collaborators) in an "industrial" style with exposed brick, parquet floors, interior glass wall... The terrace is landscaped with plants, watering is automatic. Note: this is our "real" apartment where we live with our children and which therefore includes our belongings. This makes it a very functional, and practical, tidy and optimized place for rentals but it is not a hotel. If you encounter a drawer that jams or a bulb that no longer works, we will take care of it as soon as possible, but it can happen. Apartment composition: - An entrance with storage cupboards, laundry area (washing machine and dryer) - A large living room (loft type) with large dining table; open kitchen; lounge area with giant 4K TV, hi-fi; office area. - A first bedroom with double bed (140 cm/quality futon mattress) on the mezzanine (up high, accessible by a ladder). - A night area including: > a second master bedroom with double bed (160 cm/very high quality futon mattress, raised) and an office right next door that can be converted into an extra bedroom (bay window between the two rooms). The adult beds (master bedroom and mezzanine bedroom) have high quality beds with firm mattresses (premium futon). > a child's room with a bunk bed (adult size). Possibility of a small extra mattress on the floor. - Bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. - Separate toilet. - Small mobile air conditioning to cool the night area or the living room (must not be left in your absence as it works with the window open). Parking included available ON REQUEST (availability to be checked before booking) - located 5 min walk to the building. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire space, including the balcony. Other things to note The apartment is new, as are all the furniture, supplies and decoration. We hope to find visitors who will appreciate this comfort and who will be respectful of the apartment as if it were their own. Parties and other events are not permitted.
