Here, you'll find a charming cobbled square, whitewashed cottages, galleries, tea rooms, a well-stocked shop and welcoming traditional inns to explore, all within 0.5 miles. The space A little further afield, Ambleside (5 miles) has a wider choice of shops and amenities. Outdoor lovers will be in their element, with Esthwaite Water (1.5 miles) on hand for peaceful fishing, along with Tarn Hows (3 miles), where you can enjoy an accessible circular walk with mountain views. Coniston Water (5 miles) is also nearby for boat hire and paddleboarding. You'll access this one-storey abode via a private garden and an external wooden staircase. Drop coats and boots in the entrance hall before stepping into a spacious, loft-style open-plan living area with cruck beams, where picture windows and a huge skylight flood the space with natural light.
