Charming Edwardian near Locke St

Private room and 3-piece bathroom, as well as a small kitchenette in charming Edwardian home. Comfortably fits two. Close to downtown, Locke Street, GO station, St. Joseph's hospital. 4 km to McMaster University. Near bus routes, Niagara escarpment, cycle and walking paths, farmer's market. The space spacious bedroom and newly renovated bathroom at back of house on second floor. Private and quiet space overlooking back garden. Guest access In warmer months, guests may access large front porch and/or back garden. May use kitchen facilities and laundry. During your stay I'd be happy to make recommendations re. things to see and do, cafes, restaurants, recreational options, etc. Other things to note PARKING: on my block, permits are required for stays of longer than 3 hours. There is ample parking on both sides of the street, and guests will probably be able to pull up right in front of the house any time they are coming and going, or wanting to bring things in and out. But for periods of longer than 3 hours (e.g., overnight) guests will have to park elsewhere. My guests to date have never had trouble finding parking on the next block in either direction (and mine is a short block), or on one of the streets that runs perpendicular to mine--no permits required on any of these. DURING COVID: Conditions of the stay are slightly different in order to comply with AIR BNB policies and protocols. I am working from home, and online in meetings and teaching most of the time during the working week. I'm also at home working on weekends. Normally, I am in and out much more, and guests have more use of common areas, but in order to comply with 2 metre physical distancing, guests will really only have use of their bedroom, their bathroom and the kitchenette that is designated for Air BNB guests, as well as laundry facilities in the basement. In warmer months, guests are welcome to use the front porch and back garden as well. There is a direct entrance to the kitchenette from the dining room; please use that and I will use the other door to enter the main kitchen. The front entrance is shared. I will leave hand sanitizer just inside the front door to clean the door knob. And please, only guests who have booked in the house. I am more than happy to answer questions about the specific terms of your prospective stay--and apologies for the necessity of these additional logistics.
