Cobbe Place Farm Shepherds Hut

Our shepherds hut offers peace, tranquility and an immersive experience in nature on our farm. Equipped with an en-suite bathroom (with unlimited hot shower, sink and eco-loo), our hut is the perfect place for a romantic retreat or escape from urban living within the beautiful South Downs near Lewes, close to Glynde and Firle. The space The space within the shepherds hut is basic, with the main area divided into a bedroom/kitchen/living area and the bathroom is a separate smaller space (behind a door) with a shower, sink and eco-loo. The raised bed has linen sheets, feather pillows and duvet, and there are drawers with large white towels and blanket & hot water bottles, and other useful items. There is a pull out table with 2 chairs. The kitchen area has a single gas ring for boiling the kettle or warming a pan, plenty of utensils and plates, cups and glasses and cutlery in the cupboard. A log burner and basket of logs is situated opposite the bed for warming the space. Guest access Access is up some steps from the car parking area, fairly uneven and rustic! The garden area is fenced with a gate, and the hut is raised up from the ground, accessed by some wooden steps. Other things to note Please note there are no sockets/plugs for electrical items like phone chargers or hairdryers, and we are in the middle of the countryside so fairly remote. The water however comes from the mains water supply so is drinkable.
