This gorgeous colonial style home is located 20 miles from Abilene with easy access 15 miles due south of Interstate 20 and nestled on top of Buzzard Peak over looking the town of Merkel, TX. You will enjoy the scenic beauty and unsurpassed views from this magnificent hunting lodge. The space This 5 bedroom home can sleep up to 20 guests so it great for a large group or an extended family. The kitchen is complete with all appliances and cookware so you can have homecooked meals and all of the comforts of home while also enjoying the peaceful environment of Windmill Game Ranch. Guest access Home has six entrances on the bottom floor for ease of entrance. Other things to note: 1. We have a per night charge structured so small groups can afford to enjoy our property. How it works is the first two guests are charged $300 per night then each additional guest is charged $35 per night. 2. This is a working ranch and some equipment & tools are stored in the garage. 3. Low profile vehicles are not recommended coming up the steep hill to the lodge, however they can be parked at the front gate then catch a ride to the lodge at top of hill. 4. We are located 15 miles from the nearest town & 1 1/2 miles from the nearest neighbor so it is rather remote peaceful and secluded at the end of a dead end road. Be aware that there are many wild animals on the property like racoons, skunks, coyote, bobcats, & rattlesnakes. Please do not try to catch any of these critters, because they will bite when threatened. Pet Friendly. $100 per stay fee applies. Press center of large round button when desired app & when show is highlighted to play selection. 7. to go back to different app push left pointing U-turn button on left side of remote as many times as necessary to go back to desired ap, & follow prompt. 8.
