The Cottage is located one block from "downtown" Bingen and down the hill from White Salmon which has restaurants and small shops. It is across the bridge from Hood River, 5 minutes away and easy access to all of the amenities of "The Gorge". Skiing is about 1 hour away at Mt Hood. The Cottage has its own patio. All cooking ware, dishware, linens, towels are provided. Generally I leave guests alone to enjoy their privacy in “The Gorge”. I live next door so I am available to assist, say hello and to make suggestions. I can be texted or called at any time. Bingen is a very small community. You can walk to restaurants from the house. There is a great antique shop on the Main Street about a block away. A car is best if you want to go to White Salmon or Hood River. You can bike in Bingen but cannot go over the bridge to Hood River by foot or bike. There is a $2.00 toll charge for the bridge both ways.
