Contemporary Poconos cabin close to all major Poconos Attractions: We have a brand new pool in our association, paddle boarding & kayak available at our lake just 3 minutes drive from the chalet! The space ***The Chic Chalet is a place to slow down, indulge in personal nostalgia, drink a glass (or two) of wine, and let your mind disconnect and wander. A place designed for friends and family. For good food and good conversation. There's hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, mountain fresh air and dark, starry nights! ***The brand new Olympic size Outdoor community pool. It is located about 3 mins drive from our chalet. Splash pad for kids and playground is also 3 mins drive. There is kayak and paddle board available for rent at our association lake as well as golf course and volleyball court too! Closed after Labor Day weekend! This is a house, and you can treat it as such but if you let go, and give in to the energy of a space created with love, this will feel like home. ***Stylish uplifting space with a modern/urban twist. ***Our chalet is small but it can comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. ***3 bedrooms, living-room, kitchen, one full jack and Jill bathroom(locates on the 2nd floor between the 2 bedrooms and one half bathroom on the main level. *** We have a ductless system in the living-room. No central AC! The ductless system has a cool mode just like an AC. Adjust it using the “mode” button. You can choose between (Auto , cool, heat mode). You can also adjust the desired temperature. Be patient, sometimes the unit takes some time to receive the signal from the remote control. We recommend putting on the living room ceiling fan to help distribute the cool air upstairs. Opening at least one window in each bedroom at night helps a lot! ***Inside, the fire place is recommend in the winter which fills the cabin with coziness and warmth. Keep in mind we don’t provide wood. You can purchase wood from ShopRite which is located about 10 minuets drive from the chalet. Make sure to also purchase charcoal for the grill if you are planning to use it. Features and amenities include ceiling fans, electric baseboard heaters in every room along with a ductless system in the living room. A projector with Fire TV, Bose speakers. Fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, comfortable beds and modern furniture. We also have a fire pit and an outdoor charcoal grill. ***Projector: Use the (Zoom) button on the projector control to adjust the size of the screen! Please use Chic Cabin for Netflix. If you decide to order any movies please leave cash or you can simply use your account if you have one. In order to have sound for the projector make sure the Bose speaker is connected to Alexa and turn it on. Please tell Alexa “Alexa connect to my Fire TV” and the sound should be working on the speaker! ***No parties/ no loud music allowed! This is a community with neighbors near by. Trust that we will find out if the community is disturbed! *** There will be fines if we find that out that our non smoking indoors rule has been neglected. ***Must be 25 years of age to book this home. Responsibility is a key when renting someone's home. Please respect the home as your own. ***Our story is about people who find beauty in simplicity. Simple is not about being plain. With this mindset we are committed to host you with passion. Guest access Our Guests have access to basically the whole cabin. Other things to note ***Please note we have a 1 page booking agreement which we require all of our guests to sign (name & signature) and date before checking in. ***MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK! ***If you are more than 4 guest you may have to wait in between showers since the hot water heater needs to generate more hot water. ***Camera on promises! ***Check out is strict at 11am. If you would like to extend your stay please ask us to see if we can actually accommodate that. Our cleaning team is scheduled to enter the home after your check-out time. *** FYI During spring & summer season you may run into ants, spiders or other insects inside the home. It is the nature of “cabin in the woods”! ***We will charge extra fee if cleaning after your pet is not respected. If extreme pet hair is found or urine stains, or any other kind of stains, extra charges will be applied as per the extra cleaning required to treat these stains.If cigarettes buds are found on the floor anywhere in our property, extra fees cleaning fees will be applied. Keep in mind that cigarette buds are really bad for the environment! ***The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or it's facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. -Kids should be extremely careful with the stairs. -We have thermostats available in each bedroom and bathroom. In the living room we have a ductless system. -Instructions for check-in will be given the day of your check-in. -Please do not disturb our neighbors. Many of them live there full time. No loud music allowed! -Please try to avoid shoes in the cabin if you can, but not mandatory. -Keep the fireplace closed at all times and use it with caution. Fire wood and fire starters can be purchased from Shop Rite, Lowe’s, Weis located about 10 minutes away. Make sure to purchase charcoal if you plan to use the grill. -We have delicate kitchen countertops. Avoid placing any hot dishes or kitchen ware on the kitchen countertops. If you spill anything please wipe it right away. -Please don't leave garbage outside since the bears will come and spread it all over the place. -Do not leave dirty dishes, extra cleaning fee will be applied. We have a dishwasher and for everything that needs a hand wash you can use the kitchen sink. -Please do not flush any kind of paper even toilet paper, lady products down the toilet (sepetic systems are sensitive and it will clog the toilet!) We will charge extra fee for handy man/plumber if needed! -Do not pour any food, coffee grinds or grease down the sink (again septic issue) -If something gets broken or damaged please let us know right away so we can replace it for the next guest! -Do not throw cigarette buds anywhere in our property and community! Please clean up after your dog if you have one. Extra cleaning fee may be applied if this is not followed! For any indoor smoking of any kind there will be an extra fee of $500! -Our grill is with charcoal only. Charcoal is not provided unless there is some left from previous guests. You are welcome to use it. -Turn off all lights, heaters and close all windows when leaving. Make sure there is no running water. You can leave dishwasher running if you have any dishes left. Turn off everything else you turned on during your stay. -This is your vacation time and we hope you make the most of our home, its amenities and your opportunity to relax and visit the surrounding area. -It is now your space to enjoy, relax, reflect and feel comfortable doing absolutely nothing. We won’t be able to respond right away and will respond to any questions with 1 day delay. Please keep that in mind before booking. ***This is a non-smoking premise. If we notice that someone has been smoking in the home, a $500 fine and a professional cleaning charge to remove the smoke smell in the premises will be imposed on you. The Landlord shall not be responsible to the Tenant or the Tenant’s licensees, servants, agents or other persons in the said premises calling upon the Tenant for any accident happening or injury suffered or damage to or loss of any chattel or property sustained on the said premises or in the building. In this regard, we strongly encourage the tenant to keep all valuables and items of high monetary value securely with himself/herself at all times. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the tenants’ personal belongings. Checkout is by 11am and any late checkouts may be subjected to an additional charge. Please kindly inform us of your estimated departure time once it is available. Do note that any damages or lost items from the home will be chargeable. All items or belongings left behind after checkout will be disposed of.
