Moreton View is a beautiful 3 Bedroom Beach House located on Moreton Island at Tangalooma. The house can accommodation up to ten guests. Main bedroom : 1 x Queen bed with ensuite; Second bedroom: 1 x Queen bed Third bedroom: 2 x Single beds Downstairs rumpus room: 2 x single bed matressess plus an extra 2 single mattresses Moreton View has been renovated & now includes Starlink Wifi. We do require a refundable $1500.00 damages bond payment made to agent prior to arrival. The space We are only a ten minute walk to the beach via sand stairs or you can drive down a sandy road onto the beach. Guests have full use of all Resort Facilities including Tennis, Squash, Archery, Swimming Pools, mini golf and many more activities that Resort Guests can use (this does not include the Dolphin Feeding programme). Moreton View @ Trochus Place is a 3 bedroom family home, with beautiful water views from each bedroom. Beautiful to wake up in the morning and look out across Moreton Bay. Good sized deck to sit back and watch sunset enjoying a few nibblies and social drink with family and friends. Moreton view has sweeping views across Moreton Bay to Bribie Island, Glass House Mountains and the Tangalooma Wrecks Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, large gas stove/oven, coffee machine, good sized fridge/freezer. Plenty of room in the dining area and kitchen with seating for all to enjoy a meal together. The Lounge room is very cosy, with great water views . There are 2 bathrooms, one on each level, one with a bath, both with a shower and toilet. Guest access Linen hire is NOT included, if guests wish to hire sheets, towels, pillowcases and have made beds up prior to arrival, there is an additional fee of $50.00 per person not included in the nightly rates or clean fee. Contact host prior to arrival to arrange linen. Tenants are required to provide their own toiletries. Soap, washing powder and additional toilet rolls beyond the initial supply of one per toilet are not supplied with the property. BRINGING A 4WD: As Moreton Island is a sand Island (3rd largest in the world) the only vehicles that operate on the Island are 4WD. Providing your vehicle is a 4WD, you can drive it on the island as all the tracks on the island are built for 4WD vehicles only. It is not recommended to bring an All-Wheel Drive vehicle across as they are too low for adequate ground clearance of the tracks. The MiCat vehicle and passenger Ferry from Howard Smith Drive, Lytton at the Port of Brisbane to the Tangalooma Wrecks is the only vehicle Ferry operating between Brisbane and Tangalooma, therefore early bookings are essential NO 4WD: If you will not be bringing a 4WD vehicle to the Island you will need to catch the Tangalooma Resort Passenger Launch which departs from Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba and travels to the Tangalooma Resort Jetty at least twice daily. A gated car park is available at Holt St. Wharf for a fee. Bookings are essential. Please refer to the Tangalooma Resort website for further details and charges. WE DO RECOMMEND WHEN BOOKING ACCOMMODATION, YOU ALSO BOOK YOUR FERRY AT THE SAME TIME, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON A FERRY SPOT OR GET A VERY EARLY LATE TIME OF ARRIVAL WHICH MAY BE AN INCONVENIENCE FOR YOU. GUESTS NAMES FOR SECURITY: Prior to arriving, we do require ALL guest’s full names, (first and last names) to be provided, as we are required as an agent to provide these details to Tangalooma Resort for security purposes. As the resort area is now closed to non-resort guests, if you or your guests are not on the resort security/guests list, and are stopped by a security guard or duty manager at any time, you can be denied any access to the resort, making for an unpleasant holiday at Tangalooma. DAMAGES: If any damages occur during your stay, we will process any damage or loss claims off the $1500.00 bond payment made prior to arrival. DOLPHIN FEEDING: The dolphin feeding experience is not included in any stay at this property. The property is privately owned and therefore not in the actual resort accommodation allowing guests free dolphin feeding. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is not included with this property. You can log on to Tangalooma Resort Wi-Fi as a Tangalooma guest, where you will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions. Once logged in you will receive 200mb data free per device per day. If you require extra data, you can go back into the initial set up and buy more data if you wish. CANCELLATIONS: If you are unable to travel to or from Moreton Island because Barge, Ferry or Launch services are cancelled due to severe weather no refund will be given. Other things to note A security bond of $1,500.00 is payable on the day of arrival. A valid credit card must be provided prior to arrival to secure the bond. The security bond will be released within 3–5 days after departure, provided no issues arise. This bond is for any incidentals, damages or breakages incurred during the stay will be charged against the bond.
