Sea and harbour views from the top floor with village views from the middle floor. Newly renovated and decorated with an eclectic look of new and antique furniture over 3 floors, whitewashed walls and stairs to compliment the period features including a wood burner, beamed ceilings. Breath taking views from the walks on the coastal path. Walk 1.5 miles from Thimble's doorstep to The Gardens of Heligan all off road, drive to The Eden project 8 miles away. Mevagissey is a working harbour,where you can watch the fishermen land their catch, mend their nets, which they have been since 1430 or just watch the boats bobbing up and down. Mevagissey has a history of smuggling and piracy, keeps to its roots and is far from commercialised and is still picture postcard quaint, a quintessential Cornish harbour This property is a traditional Cornish cottage on the National Trust path and as such there is no driveway, no road and no parking at the property. Parking available at public car park 5/7 mins walk away or in the harbour public car park . Bag drop bottom of Cliff Street 3/5 min walk to cottage . Guest access Thimble Cottage sleeps 4 people.
