Cosy 400yr old Cottage, Centre of Whitby, Sleeps 6

Fleur Cottage is a 400y.o. cottage situated in a traditional Whitby gated courtyard just off bustling Flowergate. Walk out of the door and into the heart of Whitby with all its historic sights, quirky charm and vintage shops. There’s no better location! As with 95% of Whitby’s historic cottages, you cant park onsite but we offer free parking nearby. There are plenty of pay car parks & non restricted zones 5-10 mins away. If you’d like to stay longer than 3 nights, pls msg. No smoking thanks. The space Fleur Cottage is a traditional courtyard cottage off Flowergate. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area downstairs, with staircase leading to a twin bedroom, bathroom and double bedroom. There is a staircase leading from the twin bedroom to a cosy mezzanine level above which has a double bed - please see photos for more details. Do note that, given the traditional nature of the cottage, the staircase is quite steep and unsuitable for small children or those with limited mobility - again, please see the photos. However, there's always the double room on the first floor for those not wanting to use the mezzanine sleeping area. Guest access You have access to the entire cottage. Other things to note Parking in central Whitby is restricted. Fleur Cottage is in one of the historic yards. That’s the same for 95% of most Whitby cottages there. We offer free nearby parking in the 3 hour disc zones using the parking scratch cards, which offer free unrestricted parking for up to 4 days at a time. There are also plenty of pay parking car parks nearby, though if you are prepared to do a 5-10 minute walk, there are other areas/streets of free parking too . You can park in one of the 1 or 3 hour zones close to the cottage which allows you enough time to unload your car. Then use one one of the options above.
