Tinnenburra Lodge - Secluded and Cosy

The Lodge at Tinnenburra is a secluded getaway just 50 minutes from Canberra. Located above the most picturesque waterfalls on the Queanbeyan River; the Lodge started as a humble fishing cabin and has evolved over the years into a cosy, off grid sustainable eco-house. Perfect for a family weekend away or a get together with friends to enjoy the beauty of the surrounds. Enjoy exploring the farm, the surrounding Yanununbeyan National Park or exploring along the gorges and flats of the river. The space The cosy dwelling with timber panelled feature walls is nestled on a bush property spanning over 1000 acres. There are three bedrooms, a cosy lounge area with a wood burning fireplace, a well equiped kitchen with an oven/stove and bathroom . Guests will love the extensive views of the waterfalls and rapids of the Queanbeyan River adjacent. Guest access The drive in through neighbouring farms and national parks sets the tone for the escape from the suburban surrounds of the Canberra region. The entrance gate to Tinnenburra is 18kms from the intersection of Woolcara Lane and Captains Flat Rd. The solar gate is automatic closing and the code will be provided on booking. Woolcara Lane is 2wd trafficable but an AWD or 4WD is recommended. Other things to note There is no internet or mobile reception at the Lodge.
